I just finished the current three books of the series Mob Princess. It's about a girl, Kate, whose father is the mob leader of a big organisation. When the mother moves out because the father cheats on her so many times, the whole family started crumbling as well as the organisation. Thus, high school girl, Kate, has to take over the family business. She ends up falling in love with the enemy organisation's leader's son, who cheated her twice in the second and third book. At the same time, she loves a rich man's son whose parents doesn't approve of a mob daughter being their son's girlfriend. However, since the rich man wasn't as innocent as they seemed, they had a chance to get back together again. The mob organisations are down by the third book and *sigh*... Kate's got it hard in all three books. I can't even imagine the feelings she'd been feeling.
Oh well, it's only a story after all. But then again, why did both guys have to treat Kate that way? It's like Kate had sex with them one night, and the next morning, both guys disappear and promised they'd contact but they never did, not for a long time anyway. What's up with that? Can't anyone out there prove to me that there's actually a good man in this world who doesn't only want a physical relationship? Geez!
Oh, and Kate's best friend who's very open about sex and doesn't hide her passion for it, she's quite the crazy one I must admit. But she's a good friend to have and fun to have around too. Sounds like, I mean, not literally. We wouldn't find anyone like that in our safe little world, would we?
I'm mostly envious of the writer. He, a guy, actually understands the way girls thought. Well, more than a female can expect from a male anyway. Great writer, except for the English, but maybe that was deliberate? Who knows? Great writers everywhere. And then there's me, aspiring to be one of them. Hahas. Excited already, for the moment.. =.=
